Clients include companies in the manufacturing, entertainment, and distribution industries.
1/00 - 5/01. Adaytum
Title: Applications Consultant. Developed multi-dimensional budgeting and forecasting models for clients using Adaytum software. Taught classes internally and at client sites. Prepared proof of concept demonstrations for new customers. Worked on the Help Desk resolving customer issues. Worked in the Best Practices Lab overseeing the work of field consultants. Adaytum was acquired by Cognos in January, 2003.
5/98 - 1/00. JD Edwards
Title: Senior Product Industry Trainer. Developed training programs for JD Edwards OneWorld financial software applications. Primary responsibility was to develop a 4-day class for the Enterprise-wide Profitability Solution product (Activity Based Costing/Managerial Accounting). Wrote course outline, exercises, and case studies. Taught the Manufacturing Accounting and Product Costing sections of the Manufacturing Expedition course.
10/96 - 5/98. Blackbaud Software
Title: Account Executive. Responsible for direct sales of school billing and accounting software in the Western U.S. Target market was small private schools in CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, BC, and AK. Position required 50% travel to territory. Duties included product demonstrations, seminars, conferences, telemarketing, pre-sales, account management, and responding to RFPs.
2/93 - 10/96. Intuit, Inc.
Title: Sales Representative. Responsibilities were to promote and sell TurboTax ProSeries software to CPAs, attorneys, and other financial professionals. Strategies included selling at trade shows, seminars, and trade association meetings. Became top producer in the
U.S. in 1994 and 1995 out of 120 sales representatives.
6/90 - 2/93. Directed Light, Inc.
Title: Controller. Hired on as Directed Light's first controller, initial responsibilities were to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures. All accounting activities were brought in-house under my supervision. Was responsible for implementing computerized accounting and inventory management systems. Directed Light is a distributor and value added reseller of industrial laser components and machines.
